Privacy Policy
CFB Perfect Season is a free fan project. The short version: no accounts, no ad tracking, and the only thing we store about you is what you choose to put on the leaderboard.
What stays in your browser
We use your device's local storage to remember a few preferences so the game works the way you left it:
- your Daily Challenge streak
- your mode/difficulty choices and whether you've seen the intro
- your cookie acknowledgement and whether you've dismissed the support prompt
This never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
What we store on the server
Nothing — until you submit a roster to the leaderboard. When you do, we save:
- the display name you type in (please don't use personal info)
- your roster, record, grade, and Dynasty Score
- a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to rate-limit submissions and curb spam — it can't be reversed into your address
There are no accounts, passwords, or email addresses. Leaderboard entries and shared roster links are public by design.
Hosting & external links
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (e.g. IP and request data) for security and reliability. If you choose to support the project on Ko-fi, that happens on Ko-fi's site under their privacy policy — we never see your payment details.
